Despite the existence of a universal phonetic alphabet, there is no Portuguese one. There is no version of the alphabet designed to respect the orthographic rules of the Portuguese language.
Therefore, I should make one using only the figures on the Latin alphabet and some of symbols of the international language that is mathematics. Having a mathematical logic, and so a system already known, I distinguish the stronger sounds with the superior (bigger than) sign, and the less notorious sound with the inferior (smaller than) sign. These two symbols are to be joined with the rest of the typographical family, based on the Modern 20 font. Inspired by the way the Spanish language does its interrogative sentences, the nasality of the vowels with a tilde presents itself before the main sign, as a warning to the reader.
