The zine’s reach needed a boost to make it a viable and self-sustaining project, as it required more funding from advertising backers. The wider the audience, the more people the zine and its contents could reach.
This project involves:
- Content creation;
- Collaborating with other accounts
- Record-keeping of statistics;
- Graphic design;
- Curation;
- Instagram;
- A website;
- Newsletter strategy and design;
- Presentation deck to advertisers.

The project did not have any online presence. As so, I created a website and developed the project’s social media presence – on Instagram.
An anticipation model strategy was drawn, along with a storyline created – fused with the project’s personality. The process was to be shown. Also, to reach more people, constant posting, community-engaging content, and videos were essential. Therefore, I studied animation, shot and edited content, applying it online.
Most of all, the online zine needed to convey the same personal feel and friendly approach that the printed zine did. To reinforce it, I have also created a newsletter, one that showcased the process and small gems of what’s to come on the next issue, intending to make the readers curious and invested in the publication.
